Reports that have appeared in Scouting East of some of the camps held by Groups within the District are contained on this page.

These include reports from camps held by 4th, 7th, 10th, 30th, 33rd, 59th and 73rd at various venues throughout Ireland. Further afield, there are reports of the 9th Pack’s visit to Kibblestone in England, 30th Pack's holidays in the Scottish Highlands, Edinburgh and the Lake District, 10th, 30th and 99th Packs' trips to the Isle of Man,10th Group's 90th Anniversary Camp in Holland and of the 33rd Stormont Venture Scout Unit's trip to Maine, USA, in 2000.. There is also a report from William Gowdy, a young leader with 4th Group, who participated in the World Jamboree in Thailand in 2003.

Newsflash!!! East Belfast District trip to Alton Towers 22 - 24 October 2004

Cost: £120 This includes flights (Friday at 2100, and returning 2200 on Sunday), food, accommodation, full day in Alton Towers and tour of Old Trafford (depending on fixtures). So far there are 65 Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Leaders going. It's still not too late to be part of this trip. If you are interested in going please contact me as soon as possible for further information.
